Cool move that is a bit more complex than a basic scissor but fun to do.
So I’ve already explained in the video the importance of take a hop forward with the opposite foot. Another suggestion would be to drag the ball SLOW, and then scissor and push quickly. Since this move has basically three parts, there’s no need to do them all quick. In fact, it’s better if you start a move slow and then accelerate during the last part.
When would you use this move?
My suggestion would be to use it when you are dribbling the ball at a fairly slow pace and you have a defender at very close proximity. Even doing this move at a standstill would be fine. I would NOT suggest trying this move going at full speed, or even medium speed – mainly because it is too risky as the ball can get away from you when you drag it.
